There’s another update to the ongoing project to emphasize human-centered service in the Library. The Tech Commons has always provided IT support to students, but it was listed as just one of several things offered in that space.
After talking with the Help Desk staff about the kinds of questions they get most often and the types of services they can provide, we’ve crafted a separate page to highlight Student IT Support that emphasizes their expertise, and how they often go above and beyond to meet user needs.
Student IT Support is in the midst of some staffing changes, so this page will probably evolve again soon to further fine-tune services and offerings.
The Tech Commons page has also been updated to emphasize its equipment and spaces while also highlighting the range of experts available to help.
